INZELL, Germany (AP) Brittany Bowe beat Heather Richardson-Bergsma to win the women's 1,500 meters for the second American 1-2 in as many days at a speedskating World Cup event on Sunday. Bowe, who also won the 1,000 meters on Saturday, clocked 1 minute, 54.68 seconds to edge her teammate by 0.26. Marrit Leenstra of the Netherlands was third, 1.11 behind, followed by Ida Njatun of Norway and Martina Sablikova of the Czech Republic. Bowe leads Richardson-Bergsma by 20 points in the standings after three races. Sprints and mass start races were scheduled for later Sunday, as well as the men's 1,500 meters.
